Ri-frazioni - visioni filtriste di Firenze e della sua provincia
Palazzo Medici-Riccardi, Florence - November 5-27, 2011
The "Ri-Frazioni" project was started at the beginning of 2011: developed in close collaboration with the Assessorship for Tourism of the Florence Province, it was presented in November through the solo exhibition at Palazzo Medici-Riccardi in Florence.
The vernissage video is available on the Filtrismo channel on Youtube, along with the report by the Toscana TV broadcasting station.
The exhibition had three additional presentations: at the Spedale dei Pellegrini-Barberino Val d'Elsa (2012), the Convento del Bosco ai Frati, S. Piero a Sieve (2012), and the Design Campus of the Faculty of Architecture of Florence, Calenzano (2013).
Florence
Volumes have been written on Florence, and yet words can barely express the emotions and sensations that it may stir.
Will then depict by images, of views unusual to the tourist stream as well.
The Metropolitan City
The exhibition granted ample space to the interpretation of twenty excelling locations in the Florence province - now Metropolitan City - with the aim to rediscover unusual and distinctive aspects in these places, rich in art, knowledge, history.
